Hello my fellow Librans
I would offer you some tea, but that does seem a little difficult. I could suggest you grab yourself some refreshers, then we can have a good talk about this.
If you're anything like me, you know that working on a new goal can be challenging. Not because of the work, but because of the fact that we don't like to leave our comfort zone. It's comfortable and we really don't like to get up. This, in my opinion, is one of my greatest drawbacks. I'd have this great plan drawn up, but then I'd be full of doubts to carry it out. My solution? Saturation. (Bear with me now, this is a good solution.)
Slowly expose yourself to new ideas. Don't rush into anything. Do research and submerge yourself with the ways you can handle this new chapter. Create a clear "Why?" And have a clear indication of what you'd like to achieve. Draw up a business model(since we're using entrupeneurship as an example) and indicate step by step processes. Have a to do list and tick it off. Actually take the action. (Just, don't get too focused on the list that you don't take the action.)
You can get most of these models on a simple Google search. You'd have to personalize the whole thing, but that's part of the fun. However, I promise you, the perfect plan you've created in detail for every minute for the next two years is going to constantly change. Planning is essential, but knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.
If you're more extroverted, talk to others. Get people involved in your project. And don't be hesitant to outsource the work you find too daunting or overwhelming. If you're more introverted, think of your reasons for this change. Write them down, and reinforce them. (We like control and safety, and a new business can seem to lack both. Think of ways you can counter this.)
Don't overwhelm yourself. Do one thing at a time. Slowly get used to the new lifestyle. Do the bare minimum in the beginning, because then you can stick to it. Create a solid foundation, and build from there. Don't rush and don't overcomplicate things. After a while, as your lifestyle changes with your business growth, your fire will burn brighter and brighter.
I would like to add some tips to keep you going. We may be so over excited in the beginning and then lose steam as we continue on. As I said earlier, focus on your "Why?". Why did you do this? There must have been some reason that was important for you. So, I need you to think carefully. These reasons have to get you through the hardships. You're going to feel a lot of frustration in your business. And remember this frustration as you move on. Because you're going to succeed.
And Remember,
Don't pressure yourself, but take the leap of faith(with the necessary precautions). It's great to weigh your options, but you should also do something. Plan carefully, but move quickly. Run and walk, think and talk. We know how to find the middle ground. After all, we're all about balance, right?
All in all, have fun. And Remember; stay weird but realistic, stay curious, not nosey and stay humble. But have a little self-confidence.
Take Care Now, I Wish You Well
